He had been with the Port of Singapore Authority Police for thirty years holding various post such as Port Duty Officer, Investigation Officer, Crime Prevention Officer in providing and auditing security matters with the all the port users and tenants occupying PSA warehouses.

Thereafter, he served in other Security Agencies holding Management portfolio.

He has served the Singapore Armed Forces for 12 years. Thereafter, he held senior management position in other security agency and Multinational Company.

He is also a certified Fire Safety Manager, Chemical Emergency Response Planner, Risk Assessor and Accident investigator.
